Information and transparency

Terms of Use

Rules governing access, subscription and use of WebCatalogue.

Working draft. The operator identity, address, tax and registration details, contacts, providers and internal retention periods must be confirmed before final legal approval.

Service and account

WebCatalogue provides catalogue management, identification, immersive experiences, integrations and API access. Users are responsible for credentials and supplied data. WebCatalogue is responsible for providing the contracted platform functions. Customers are responsible for their users, credentials, configurations, product information and authority to bind the represented organisation.

Plans and integrations

Features depend on the active plan. Official modules are free, but connections require an active subscription. API documentation is public; data requires authentication and an active plan. Official store modules may be free to download, but authenticated operation requires an active subscription. We maintain supported module code; customers remain responsible for store compatibility, updates, backups, testing and third-party platform conditions.

Content and acceptable use

Customers retain rights to submitted content and warrant authority to use it. Illegal, abusive, fraudulent or unsafe use is prohibited. Customers retain ownership of submitted data and content and grant only the technical licence needed to host, transform, index, recognise, synchronise and publish it as instructed. Customers warrant rights to text, images, trademarks, documents, video and 3D assets; WebCatalogue does not pre-approve every item.

Availability and liability

Maintenance or downtime may occur. Applicable service, support, cancellation and liability terms will be defined in the plan proposal or agreement. Recognition and OCR results may be probabilistic and require validation. WebCatalogue is responsible for operating the technical process with reasonable care, not for decisions taken solely from automated results, third-party outages, customer misconfiguration or unlawful content.
